Clavamox, amoxicillin clavulanate, is a prescription antibiotic medication for dogs and cats. Amoxicillin clavulanate is a broad spectrum, penicillin type antibiotic that is effective against certain types of bacteria. It may be prescribed by a veterinarian to treat urinary tract infections, infections of the skin and soft tissue including wounds, abscesses, cellulitis, dermatitis, and pyoderma in dogs and cats. It may also be used to treat dental infections and periodontal disease in dogs. Clavamox Chewable tablets have a palatable, pork-liver flavor. Available in 62.5 mg, 125 mg, 250 mg, 375 mg.
