Dasuquin® Sprinkle Capsules

When it comes to joint pain and joint health, Dasuquin® supports joints with a unique compound of glucosamine/chondroitin sulfate and avocado/soybean unsaponifiables (ASU). And all in a tasty, sprinkle capsule that can mixed with food. Dasuquin® for Cats is a joint health supplement that goes above and beyond other glucosamine supplements on the market. ASU is an ingredient obtained from avocados and soybeans that is used for joint health. The glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate support healthy cartilage matrix production and help protect against cartilage breakdown, and the ASU complements their effects for more comprehensive joint health support. Nutramaxx's trademarked glucosamine hydrochloride, chondroitin sulfate and avocado/soybean unsaponifiables together were shown in cell studies to be better than the combination of glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate alone at inhibiting expression of several agents involved in cartilage breakdown.

Dasuquin® has been evaluated in a safety study in cats, and no adverse effects were noted from administration. There are no known contraindications or known interactions between Dasuquin® and any drug or nutritional supplement.

Capsules may be given once or twice a day depending on your cat's feeding schedule. Once desired response is obtained, capsules may be administered every other day to maintain your cat. Number of capsules administered may be increased at any time depending on your cat's needs. A maintenance level can also be used long-term on healthy cats to help support their joints.

If your cat eats dry food, the food may be moistened with a small amount of water so that the powder sticks. Alternatively, the contents of the capsules may be mixed with a small amount (i.e., tablespoon) of wet or moist food to ensure your cat eats the entire amount.Capsules may be "pilled" if more convenient.
